Why Eventify

What Makes This Builder Better For Events

Built For Event Content

Agenda, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors come from the event you already set up, not from a copy you maintain twice.

No Code Needed

Drag, drop and type. Custom code is there when you want a script, never required.

Responsive By Default

Desktop is the base design. Tablet and mobile changes apply to that size and smaller.

On-Brand Everywhere

One theme colour and one font pair update the whole site, plus your favicon and web clip icon.

Your Domain, Your Address

Keep the eventify.io address or point your own domain to it. Folders give clean addresses like /blog/launch-day.

Safe To Edit

Autosave, undo and redo, version history and a preview mode before anything goes live.

FAQs

Event Website Builder Questions, Answered

What is an event website builder?
An event website builder is a tool for designing and publishing the website for a conference, expo, summit or other event without writing code. Eventify's builder sits inside your event, so agenda, speaker, sponsor, exhibitor, news and countdown blocks use the event data you already manage in Eventify.
Do I need coding skills to use the website builder?
No. You drag ready-made sections and elements onto the canvas, click to select them and double-click text to edit it. Custom code in the page head or body is optional, for things like analytics or tracking pixels.
Which templates can I start from?
You can start from a blank page or one of ten designed themes: Summit, Expo, Healthcare, Fintech, Tech Conference, Enterprise, Nebula, Meridian, Blackout for music festivals and night events, and Applause for awards and galas. The Layouts tab adds fully designed sections, grouped by category.
Does the agenda on my website update when my event changes?
Dynamic blocks take a snapshot of your event data when you save. After you change sessions, speakers or sponsors in Eventify, republish the website and the blocks show the new data. See dynamic event content.
Can I publish the website on my own domain?
Yes, on selected plans. In Settings › Domains you add your domain and create a CNAME record that points to sites.eventify.io. DNS changes can take from minutes up to a day, and SSL is set up automatically. Without a custom domain, the site runs on your eventify.io address.
Is the event website mobile-friendly?
Yes. Desktop is your base design, and the device switcher shows Desktop, Tablet and Mobile views. Changes you make in the Tablet or Mobile view apply to that size and smaller, so you can fine-tune each screen size.
Can I match the website to my brand?
Yes. Set the theme colour for buttons, links and accents, and the heading and body fonts, once for the whole site, with Google Fonts in the font picker. You can also add your favicon and a web clip icon for mobile home screens.
What SEO settings does the builder have?
Each page has a page title, description and social sharing image, an editable URL slug and a switch to hide the page from search engines. Images take alt text, and links can be set to nofollow.
Can I add Google Analytics or tracking pixels?
Yes. Under Settings › Custom Code you can add code to the head of every page, for meta tags, styles and analytics snippets, or to the body for end-of-page scripts such as tracking pixels. Single pages can carry their own code too.
Can I preview my website before it goes live?
Yes. Preview switches the editor to a read-only view of the site. Saving never publishes: your changes go live only when you click Publish or Update, and the Publish panel shows whether there are unpublished changes.
Can I password-protect a page?
Yes. In Page Settings you can set a page to open for anyone with the password. The check is meant to keep casual visitors out, so do not use it for confidential data.
Where do I find the website builder in Eventify?
Go to Setup › Website Editor in your event and click New Website. The builder is in early beta, and one website can be active per event at a time. See the getting started guide and the event website builder guide.
